Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioning Europe, Ltd. (MHIAE) has announced the launch of two new Hydrolution EZY air-to-water heat pump models. The latest additions to the Hydrolution EZY line are monobloc systems operating on R290 (propane).
Available in 6kW (FDCW60VNX-P) and 7.1kW (FDCW71VNX-P) capacities, the new Hydrolution EZY models feature an all-black finish, highlighted by a silver vertical accent, which the company says delivers a sleek appearance while ingeniously concealing the fan from side views for a cleaner look.
The new Hydrolution EZY models can achieve flow temperatures of up to 75°C across ambient conditions ranging from -25°C to +43°C. The company says the installation is simple and flexible, with no refrigerant connection to indoor unit, two water pipes and an electrical connection to the outdoor unit required, minimising on-site work and commissioning time.
For enhanced safety, the Hydrolution EZY units feature a built-in refrigerant leak detection sensor. In the unlikely event of a leak, the unit automatically stops operation and activates a fan to disperse any escaped refrigerant safely.
