The hotun dry trap tundish incorporates a tundish with a wide bowl and a non-return valve. Installers can use it to take pressure relief discharge or temperature relief discharge straight to drain without additional equipment.
The non-return valve prevents foul odours or waste gases entering the living area whilst the tundish air break safeguards against cross contamination with wholesome water.
The company says its smallest tundish can deliver all this within just 73mm between pipes. For large unvented cylinders, hotun highflow provides for higher flow rates .
hotun detect provides what the company describes as a, “world first water and temperature activity reporting device that gives an immediate visual and audible alert to activity in the tundish.” This design, it says, saves wasted energy and water and alerts the home user in the first instance and before an installation fails completely. The installer can then schedule a convenient visit rather than attend a crisis appointment.
The company is inviting installers to visit hotun at InstallerShow 2024 where installers can see the hotun tundish range of products performing live under pressure on its stand.
