The new Ecostat Fine and Ecostat Element shower and bath thermostats from hansgrohe have been designed to integrate comfort, sustainability, and safety.
The new thermostats can also help to reduce water and energy consumption. The integrated EcoStop+ function limits the water flow to a maximum of six litres per minute in the first step. Optionally, users can set the desired water flow manually by simply pressing the EcoStop+ button.
Meanwhile, the SafetyStop button prevents scalding caused by excessively hot water and helps to save energy. A hot water lock provides additional safety and peace of mind by allowing a maximum temperature to be set on the thermostat cartridge. This, the company says, cannot be exceeded – not even by pressing the SafetyStop button. hansgrohe Ecostat thermostats automatically compensate for temperature fluctuations caused by other processes taking place in the water system.
Intuitive colour coding and symbols also help the operation of the thermostats. Ecostat Fine and Element are available in Chrome and Matt Black.
The main difference between the two thermostats is the newly designed handles: with the operating flag in a different colour from the main handle, Ecostat Fine ensures good adjustability and readability. Ecostat Element also focuses on ease of use with its one-piece handle. Both design variations can be combined with many different product solutions from the company.
