The Clipacore core drilling range from Carl Kammerling International has been refreshed.
Carl Kammerling International Ltd (CKI), has re-launched its Clipacore brand, introducing a new look to encompass its Fit.Clip.Core System. The company says the range consists of all the components to quicky and professionally core drill, using a patented clip system to connect core to adapter and adapter to drill. The approach, it says, has been taken to both save users time and address safety concerns when core drilling.
Core drilling of larger holes through walls and solid material for installation of larger pipe can be a difficult and arduous task. Drill bits can get jammed onto the drive adaptors, which can be challenging to remove, as the core can jolt or jam, making it difficult to drill the holes, and ejecting the core waste can be time consuming.
Adaptors
The Clipacore system consists of several adaptors that screw onto the drill and core drill bit, slotting into each other, and securing with a clip. The clip can be removed by hand with no other tools required, designed to allow quick and efficient separation of the drill and the core drill bit. The company says that in addition to efficiency, the new coring solution also helps to prolong tool lifespan and even reduce risk of injury.
Joshua Meyerratken, Brand Executive at CKI said: “When originally acquiring Clipacore in 2023, we knew the range would support our wider mission to step outside of the traditional electrical stronghold and support plumbing, heating and HVAC professionals with a must-have solution to transform the way they work. This refreshed range is totally unique and will support our professional customers to save time, increase safety and ease frustration around a common industry issue.”
The quick-release Clipacore system includes drill adaptors, core adaptors, extension kits, ChuckAway adaptors and specialist solutions such as Duocut Pro, Fluemate Pro and Condensemate Pro.
There’s also a range of Xpresscut dry diamond core drill bits for drilling through standard building materials, as well as a selection of trade specific kits supplied in new durable cases.
