Vaillant is further strengthening its support for the nation’s heating installers, creating ‘Vaillant for Life’ which the company says reinforces the business’ commitment to the installer community, ensuring they have the tools, training, and support to succeed in an evolving market.
As part of this new ‘Vaillant for Life’ approach, the business has spoken to some of its loyal installers across the country to find out what is important to them not only in business, but how the right support can enrich their personal life too.
One of the first installers is Ben Clarke, owner of CL Plumbing & Heating Solutions. Ben was first introduced to Vaillant back in 2020. After completing his apprenticeship and accreditation, he started his own business. “Once I got qualified and Gas Safe, I tried a few different boilers until I eventually fitted a customer with a Vaillant model. Within a day, I signed up to Vaillant Advance,” he explained.
With the training received he’s grown his business even further, opening up new markets with the help of his Area Sales Manager.
“I definitely wouldn’t have taken on the jobs we’re doing now and have coming up, if I didn’t have the support in the background that I know I can get from Vaillant. I wouldn’t have really had the confidence to take on huge projects, such as installing an air source heat pump,” added Ben.
This support for installers goes hand in hand with Vaillant’s new sponsorship of the weather on Good Morning Britain, delivering important brand awareness among the nation’s homeowners.
Alice Woolley, Marketing Director at Vaillant commented: “We’ve always seen our relationship with installers as a partnership. Today, with the industry transitioning with its journey towards heat pumps, support for our installers is even more important. By putting more emphasis on services such as training and aftersales support that help installers not only professionally but also personally, we’re creating a lifelong relationship that goes far beyond product sales helping them thrive in the industry while enhancing their work-life balance.
“Installers involved in sharing their personal life stories have responded enthusiastically, with many commenting that the company’s unique blend of business support, training, and rewards has been instrumental in both their work and home lives. We’re now putting our focus into creating more support for installers to ensure they meet their business goals in the evolving heating industry.”
Future life stories of installers will follow, including Gary Lynch, owner of Chamings Plumbing and Heating. Gary and his team are just about to embark on their heat pump journey with Vaillant, however the very first boiler Gary installed was a Vaillant ecoTEC plus, which is still in place today.
Gary sees his business as an extension of his homelife and said: “At one time or another every member of my family has worked here, in fact you could say two of my kids have completed most of their university work in my office. By building my business, it’s meant I’ve really been able to support my children over the years.”
Alice concludes: “For over 150 years, we’ve helped installers grow their businesses, so, they can focus on the big picture and make time for things that matter all while keeping ahead of the competition. We’re excited to see where the next 150 years takes them, and us!”
