Polypipe Building Products has joined the growing Made in Britain initiative as a full member.
The full range of Polypipe below ground drainage, above ground drainage, plastic plumbing and rainwater systems will be added to the Made in Britain product directory alongside product selections from some of the UK’s most established and successful manufacturers.
Since 2011, Made in Britain has been supporting British manufacturers with headquarters or main factories in England, Scotland or Wales by promoting them to consumers and key markets in the UK and overseas. The organisation works closely with UK government policy makers and industry groups to support skilled jobs and encourage sustainable growth among the UK manufacturing sector.
The Made in Britain membership follows in the long tradition of national and international recognition received by Polypipe, with the company earning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2016.
Steve Heeley, Managing Director at Polypipe Building Products, says: “Polypipe Building Products has been manufacturing essential plumbing and drainage products used across the world in Doncaster for more than 40 years and we are delighted to be associated with the prestigious Made in Britain organisation.”
Polypipe will be using the official Made in Britain mark throughout its promotional material and product packing during the course of 2021.
