LG has announced upgrades to its UK training academy, to support the HVAC industry’s need for continuous professional development as the UK transitions to cleaner energy.
The training programmes are designed to upskill installers, distributors, and customers in installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting Residential and Commercial Split ACs, VRF Systems, Chillers, and Air-to-Water Heat Pumps.
The renovation at the UK facility in Weybridge includes the installation of new R290 Air-to-Water Heat Pumps and Multi Vi (VRF Systems), enhancing LG’s comprehensive training programmes which form part of its LG All Stars reward programme.
“As the adoption of heat pumps continues to rise, so does the need for specialised training. Our new and improved LG Academy is not just an educational platform, but a key element in our commitment to supporting the industry’s transition to sustainable energy solutions and to support net zero targets,” says Vishavjeet Sodhi, Head of Air Solutions at LG Business Solutions.
