
UK-Ground Source Heat Pump manufacturer, Kensa, has announced a new warranty for all ground source heat pumps sold after 1st February 2026, introducing clearer terms, longer coverage, and parts‑and‑labour contribution as standard.
The company says it’s new warranty ensures customers receive clearer protection throughout the lifecycle of their heat pump.
Kensa will offer three options:
– Free 1-year out-the-box warranty: Valid from shipment. Includes parts and labour allocation
– Free 4-year standard warranty: Valid from commissioning. Registration required within 30 days, Includes parts and labour allocation
– Paid 8-year extended warranty: Prices from £480 for a single heat pump – purchased at point of sale only. Valid from commissioning, Includes parts and labour allocation
These warranties apply to UK installations and require installation by a Kensa‑approved, MCS‑certified, or competent installer.
