Richard Harpin, Founder and Chief Executive of HomeServe (which now owns Checkatrade), has addressed a number of questions and concerns in a Facebook post following a spate of comments on social media in recent weeks.
Responding to the specific matter of whether HomeServe is going to siphon off work, Mr Harpin says: “Absolutely not. The plumbers and heating engineers we employ are focused on doing repair work for our members. We have no plans to expand into other trades.”
