Grant UK has launched the Grant Solo fan convector range, which includes three models, Solo Compact, Solo CompactMAX and the Solo Hideaway.
Solo Compact fan convectors are reported as being highly efficient and produce more output per unit area when compared to conventional radiators. The units are also said to be ideally suited to complement low temperature systems including heat pumps.
With a low water content and sophisticated temperature control, Solo fan convectors are able to deliver the precise amount of heat when and where it is needed. The units require no warm up time, so can start distributing heat as soon as hot water is available and can operate for shorter periods of time, consuming significantly less energy.
While the Solo fan convectors have been designed to emit heat quickly, its surface temperature will reportedly never reach dangerous levels regardless of the water temperature which makes these units a safer option.
The range is also said to give homeowners precise control when setting the temperature. Solo fan convectors do not need wall thermostats or thermostatic radiator valves as each unit regulates its own heat output, allowing for room by room temperature control. Homeowners can also adjust the temperature setting on each unit as required to maintain temperatures throughout the home.
Each Solo model has been designed to be comparatively small in size for its output with a slim profile which can be used for situations where space is at a premium.
The Solo Hideaway model is a plinth version allowing the fan convector to be located out of sight. Designed for kitchen and bedroom spaces, the Hideaway unit can be positioned under workspace units and does not require any wall space and can be installed without disrupting a room’s existing layout.
