Fernox has officially opened the Fernox Experience and The Ernie McDonald Training Academy in Woking. The recent event brought together customers, industry influencers and supply chain partners.
The company says the new interactive academy is a significant investment offering installers, apprentices and trainees at varying levels of experience the chance to gain product knowledge as well as practical training.
Named after Ernie McDonald, the company’s former General Manager for over 25 years, the new academy includes a research and development centre and showcases the company’s full product range while giving an in-depth insight into how products for both domestic and commercial applications work.
The company says the Fernox Experience can be booked for bespoke sessions to meet the needs of new or existing customers, and those currently studying, with Fernox partnering with numerous colleges throughout the year.
Charel Marais at Fernox commented: “We are incredibly proud of the Fernox Experience and The Ernie McDonald Training Academy. The opening event was the culmination of significant time and investment to create a modern and adaptable learning space that can support the needs of future generations of heating and plumbing professionals. We are looking forward to welcoming attendees to gain insight into our industry leading products, robust testing methods and to learn essential skills.”
