Ariston has become the third manufacturer to secure an ECO4 Innovation Measure in the UK.
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) scheme is a UK government initiative designed to help improve the energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of homes, particularly for low-income and vulnerable households.
The scheme offers funding for eligible homeowners, landlords and private tenants towards a range of home improvements, including the installation of air source heat pumps (ASHPs), insulation, and other low-carbon measures.
To qualify for the 25% uplift, the installation must include a qualifying model from Ariston’s Nimbus air-to-water ASHP range, which comes with a 10-year warranty, and be enabled for “Active Care” via the Ariston NET app.
Edoardo Pauletta D’Anna, UK Managing Director at Ariston, commented: “We’re delighted to be one of the first heat pump manufacturers in the UK to offer a range of ASHP solutions that qualify for the ECO4 Innovation Measure uplift. At Ariston, we believe ‘A Sustainable World Starts At Home’ and this latest achievement further highlights our commitment to delivering high-performance, energy-efficient heating solutions.
“Not only does ECO4 enable homeowners to lower their energy bills while reducing their carbon footprint, but it also drives demand for high-quality, compliant installations. For installers, this presents a significant opportunity to offer eligible customers fully or partially funded upgrades to more efficient heating systems.”
To help installers and their customers understand ECO4 and navigate how to apply for funding, Ariston has launched a central hub here: https://www.ariston.com/en-uk/eco4/
