The Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors (APHC) has announced the launch of its new initiative, “Proud to be APHC”.
The association says the new campaign will aim to emphasise the importance of professionalism and continuous improvement within the plumbing and heating industry, as well as help APHC to strengthen its community of member businesses by foster a sense of pride and unity among members.
The idea for the campaign was sparked after positive comments from members regarding their membership with APHC expressed high satisfaction levels. The campaign will work hand in hand with APHC’s other industry initiative ‘Quality Plumber Week’ which champions the highly skilled work of plumbing and heating contractors and celebrates the achievements of installers who go above and beyond with their commitment to high standards of workmanship.

APHC member Denis Johnson from Hinckley Plumbing & Heating Services Ltd said: “My company has been a member of the APHC for over 20 years. The APHC offers many benefits and services to its membership which helps to keep companies like ours up to date with ever-changing legislation and industry standards.”
Another member, Bounce Renewables added: “The APHC continues to support its membership by being proactive. The APHC team want to make a difference, and nothing is too much trouble. Our initial dealings with APHC helped us formulate our understanding of what good business practise looks like and we believe APHC membership will be an important part of our success going forward”.
To get involved in the campaign, APHC members are encouraged to engage on social media using the hashtag #ProudToBeAPHC to share stories, showcase work and connect with other members.
“We are incredibly excited about this campaign and the opportunity to celebrate our members,” said John Thompson, CEO of APHC. “Your stories, achievements, and dedication are what make APHC a strong and respected association. Together, we can showcase the best of our industry and inspire future generations of plumbing and heating professionals.”
