Loyalty programmes can help plumbers become closer to brands whilst earning rewards for installing qualifying products. PHPI caught up with Jamie Cox, Technical Training and Events Marketing Manager at Aqualisa, to discover more about the company’s Installer Connect scheme 

 Q. Why has Aqualisa launched an installer loyalty programme?
We have launched the Installer Connect loyalty programme to recognise, reward and support the professional installers who play a vital role in representing our brand and fitting our products. 

We are offering a whole host of benefits from priority support phone line to an easy to access online eLearning guides across our ranges of products.  

We want to engage with our installer base regularly to help with changes in the industry and try and give back to those that advocate for our products.

Q. What are the key features of Installer Connect?
We are offering free training and information on our types of shower technology, priority installer customer service number, the chance to earn from your qualifying installs as well as the potential to boost your business by becoming featured on our ‘locate an installer’ page.

Q. Training is a key issue for many plumbers – what kind of training is available?
We will be offering 15-20 minute eLearning guides via our platform which can be paused and re-visited at any time as well as the opportunity to visit our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton for more hands-on training and exclusive glimpses of our new products. 

We will also be running Installer based FAQs and content support.

Q. What other support is available?
We have a dedicated email address, priority support contact number, 1-1 dedicated field service engineer support and we are also launching a joint visit option so that we can send an Aqualisa employed engineer to support post install, this could be checking after your first install or supporting with any potential problems.

Q. How does a plumber collect points?
We have moved away from a points-based system as this can become complicated and have a very simple 10 qualifying product install & warranty registration = 1 free of charge product. These are made up of five products from our Smart, Mixer and Electric shower range. The more qualifying products you fit and register the more free products you can earn.

Q. What kind of rewards and merchandise could plumbers earn?
We offer a welcome pack once you have gone through our guide to the platform which includes a branded t-shirt, bag, water bottle and carpenters’ pencil and then you are free to register and earn as many free products as you want.
