Baxi unveils new Remeha by Baxi Quinta Ace commercial boiler series

Baxi has announced the arrival of the new Remeha by Baxi Quinta Ace high performance boiler series, now available with aluminium and stainless-steel heat exchanger options.

The company is billing the series as the ‘energy transition boiler’ and the new Quinta Ace will include an all-new optional gas adaptive kit for biogas, to support the transition towards a net zero heating system.

Sustainability has been included in the new-look design to achieve a reduced life cycle assessment (LCA) using a lower carbon ABS plastic boiler cover and recycled packaging and updated manuals.

James Matthews, Director of Building Solutions at Baxi, said: “As building owners and managers look to reduce the carbon intensity of the heating system, hybrid systems are seen as an achievable step on the decarbonisation roadmap by many. Capable of operating at 40ºC temperature differential, the Quinta Ace is a versatile choice in hybrid solutions, working alongside renewable technologies like our Auriga air source heat pump range to meet peak heat demand. Now, with its new gas adaptive feature, the new and improved Quinta Ace offers the future option to switch to low carbon biogas to achieve full heat decarbonisation.

“Using LCA in the product re-design has also resulted in a reduced environmental impact,” James continued. “This helps building services professionals and building managers to optimise carbon reduction and meet sustainability goals.”

The new Quinta Ace is available in 15 outputs from 30 to 160 kW (up to 1,200 kW in cascade), with a choice of aluminium or stainless-steel heat exchanger. The new range uses the same Ace control platform, the same performance level controls, and the same standardised cascade sets and flue systems. Fully backwards compatible for ease of replacement, the new Quinta Ace is supported by a 7-year warranty* and year-round 24/7 customer support.

“A key benefit for specifiers, contractors and end users is that we have extended the Quinta Ace range to offer a choice of stainless-steel or aluminium heat exchanger options,” said James. “So now our customers have a Quinta Ace solution to meet every project requirement.”

Additional benefits include the newly visible Human Interface Unit (HMI), designed for intuitive, user-friendly operation and quick connect plug-and-play connectors for rapid installation. In-built 0-10 V output connection and Bacnet and Modbus gateways offer advanced connectivity to Building Management Systems (BMS) for improved energy management and design flexibility.

“The new Quinta Ace range is the Quinta-ssential commercial choice for the future of sustainable heating,” said James. “We’ve taken our best-selling product, extended the range, added new sustainable features, and given it a whole new-look aesthetic. Our new hybrid-ready, ‘energy-transition’ Quinta Ace is part of our commitment to offer customers increased options and solutions, backed by Baxi’s expert sales support and technical design services, for a seamless move to net zero heating.”

*7-year warranty applies when commissioned by Baxi, a standard 5-year warranty otherwise
