This year’s ‘Trusted Trader of the Year’ has been awarded to Tincknell Heating at the 12th annual Which? Awards.
The Which? Awards were held in London and were hosted by Which? Chief Executive Peter Vicary-Smith and BBC presenter Naga Munchetty.
Based in Somerset, Tincknell Heating was established over 60 years ago and specialises in plumbing and boiler installations.
The award is said to reward smaller businesses who have gone above and beyond for its customers and gives businesses an opportunity to set themselves apart from others recognised in the Which? Trusted Traders scheme.
Tincknell Heating joined Which? Trusted Traders in 2016 and received numerous reviews from satisfied customers, which was said stand out to the judges.
Tincknell Heating also included feedback forms in its handover pack after a job was completed, in a bid to show commitment to improving its service for customers.
Its staff also took the time to respond to each review, another quality that was said to impress the judges.
Raj Kakar-Clayton, Managing Director of Which? Trusted Traders, commented: “The ‘Which? Trusted Trader of the Year’ is a popular award and celebrates the very best of local businesses in the UK. Tincknell Heating consistently receives fantastic reviews from satisfied customers.
“Simple gestures such as leaving flowers after a job demonstrate how Tincknell Heating has gone above and beyond for its customers.”
