Golf Day set up to raise money for CRASH

Global events and media experts at Versanta are asking members of the construction industry to take to the fairways as part of a fundraising campaign for CRASH – The construction industry Charity.

It’s set to be an annual event and this year will be hosted at the internationally renowned PGA Professional course at The Belfry, Sutton Coldfield.

In its inaugural year, the organising team is hoping for not only a healthy show of golfers to dust off their clubs, but some generous sponsors to give CRASH a cash boost.

Colin Heath, Managing Director at Versanta said: “CRASH is the construction industry’s charity. It is a unique, practical charity that assists homeless and hospice charities with construction related projects, we believe in the work of the charity which aligned them perfectly with an event for the insulation industry to support.”

In addition to an excellent day of golf, supporters will also be treated to a sportsman’s dinner with a sporting legend taking the mic after a 3-course dinner.

Colin added: “Versanta will be covering all associated costs of the golf event so that all donations either from sponsorship or in cash go to the charity.

“You never know when either you or a family member or close friend may rely on this vital service.”
