Firebird launches low NOx roadshows

Firebird has announced it will be hosting a series of Low NOx roadshows to provide advice on how to comply with the latest changes to the ErP Directive.

Presented in conjunction with elco, the roadshows will include a series of presentations, product demonstrations as well as the opportunity for ‘hands-on’ product training on the new Firebird by elco low NOx burner.

Firebird personnel will also be on hand to introduce further new product developments as well as answer any questions. Refreshments and food will be available throughout the day and professionals can reserve a place by visiting www.firebird.uk.com.

This latest round of changes, which targets NOx emission levels for the first time, will come into force on 26th September. It is said these changes will have the biggest impact on the heating industry as traditional yellow-flame oil-fired boilers will no longer comply.

This legislation will be applicable to all new installations as well as when existing products are replaced. Firebird however will be able to offer customers a choice of three low NOx compliant burner options from MHG, elco and Riello respectively.

The Envirogreen boiler range which features a Firebird by elco low NOx burner is installed, commissioned and serviced using a single Allen Key and will include models for internal and external applications in a variety of outputs.  The CO2 level is factory-set at 12.5% and can be adjusted by referring to the CO2 level settings which are printed on the burner casing, acting as a reference guide.
